The City of Escondido was where my love for design truly flourished! Here, I learned to work in Illustrator and InDesign, and most importantly I worked collaboratively with a fantastic team. There were many challenges, such as tight unexpected deadlines or misprints, but we always managed to pull through. Below are designs and concepts that I have created and collected throughout my time at the city.
A last minute program for the city's biggest event. We used a scene captured by a city drone as the backdrop, showcasing one of the main roads of the city!
A one-sided flier for the fire department. The blue and red help celebrate the official fire department logo, while the pops of yellow in the photo tie the design together.
A fun infographic. The use of icons was implemented in the design to bring the information to the attention of a wider demographic.
A concept for the 2020 summer recreational program. The city wanted a clean design that presented the programs and activities in a fun way that would spread excitement. The summer theme inspired us to use bright colors and icons!
